MS-DOS Part 4

Understanding IP Command

Below are the commands associated with the network. To make these commands you should go to MS DOS Prompt.

ipconfig / all
Showing the connection configuration information, such as the Host Name, Type Primary DNS, LAN Ethernet Adapter.

ipconfig / displaydns
Showing DNS cache.

ipconfig / flushdns
Removing DNS Cache

ipconfig / release
"Removing" all connections IP Address.

ipconfig / renew
Create a new IP Address to a specific adapter.

ipconfig / registerdns
Do refresh DNS connection and re-register DNS.

ipconfig / showclassid
Showing information DHCP Class.

ipconfig / setclassid
Change the DHCP Class ID

control netconnections
Displaying Network Connection.

ping
Example: ping-www.klik kanan.com
Make connections to the test site www.klik-kanan.com. The little% loss is to eat the better connection.

tracert
IP Address displays route.

netstat
Display connection information TCP / IP is currently active.

route
Showing local route.

hostname
Showing the computer.
